Our Family Law Group provides a wide variety of services to our clients. A significant portion of the practice is devoted to negotiating, and when necessary or appropriate, litigating matrimonial matters.

Our team provides excellent and comprehensive services for all Family Law disputes – extraordinarily sophisticated and complex cases, to less complicated matters.

Many of our attorneys are also certified mediators and are available to mediate matrimonial disputes. The Honorable Michael K. Diamond, the former Presiding Family Part Judge of Passaic County is a member of our team. Our attorneys also represent clients during the mediation process through the completion of the divorce.

We regularly handle the full array of issues arising after divorce such as applications to modify alimony and child support proceedings and appeals.

Our well-respected attorneys work hard for the best possible result for each of our clients and are prepared to try a case if a fair result cannot be obtained through negotiation or mediation. The Department prides itself on protecting our clients’ interests throughout the negotiation and preparation processes of prenuptial, marital, separation and property settlement agreements.  In so doing, our lawyers draw upon the considerable and diverse expertise of other departments, including the Trust and Estates, Tax, Real Estate and Corporate Departments.

In addition our attorneys work closely with forensic accountants, appraisers, psychologists, mental health professionals and other experts should the need arise during any proceeding.

We are very skilled negotiators. While we make every effort to work toward a swift and fair resolution for our clients, our attorneys have extensive trial experience should a matter proceed to trial.
